We are delighted to return to Trinity College Cambridge for three sessions directed by Jonathan Brett and presented by the Trinity College Music Society.
The classes are ideal for those with some conducting experience looking to develop their skills but equally accessible for those simply seeking to gain initial insight into this fascinating art. Observing and participating is free but please note that prior registration is needed for active participation.

3.00-5.00pm, The Old Combination Room
Lecture / Seminar – Mastering Time
This introduction to the concepts behind advanced conducting technique is accessible for anyone with an interest in musical direction. It examines the role of the conductor and principles affecting sound and gesture which must be addressed for a conductor to be able to work efficiently and effectively.
7.00-10.00pm, Frazer Room
Workshop – putting the theory into practice.
This is open to anyone with interest and sufficient musical background to engage in practical work (including beginners) but advance registration is needed and numbers may have to be limited.

3.00-6.00pm, Trinity College Chapel
Class with full orchestra
The programme is completed with a session with full orchestra.
